Ensuring that every detail of a wedding couple's special day is perfect - from flowers to food, table settings to entertainment, organising the waiting staff to reassuring the waiting groom, from the bride's entrance to the very last dance - a Wedding Angel goes the extra mile to make wedding dreams a reality.
From the moment a couple makes an initial enquiry at the hotel through to the wedding day, a Wedding Angel takes care of all aspects of the organisation, ensuring the process is seamless and making the planning and preparation as pleasurable a part of the proceedings for the couple as the big day itself.
It's no easy job - couple counsellor, interiors stylist, event organiser, diplomat, trusted advisor, bride's best friend and romance specialist - a Wedding Angel has many different hats to wear. But, the reward of being able to give each couple the happiest day of their lives is unparalleled.

We're offering two would-be wedding planners the chance to be a Mercure Wedding Angel, a wedding event planner extraordinaire who will bring their own unique touch of magic to the wedding event services offered at two Mercure hotels.
One winner will be based at the elegant Mercure Windsor Castle Hotel, within a moment's walk of the romantic castle and its magnificent grounds, and the other winner will be based at the historic Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa, a truly stunning 700-year old manor house in the Lancashire countryside.
These are full-time, paid, permanent positions and an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to break into wedding planning. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to make the role their own and will be eligible for all the usual benefits afforded to Mercure employees.
